Being a college student in New York brings
you many advantages; free entry to world-class museums, restaurants offering
cuisine from all around the globe, and celebrity spotting on your local grocery shop.
One NYC experience that will go down in memory for me was the after hours
‘Knight at the Met’, where the Metropolitan Museum invited college students for
a party after they’d closed those big, wide doors.
It’s not every day that you
sip on themed mocktails, enjoy appetisers aplenty and dance with random college
students, all whilst being in the proximity of some of the greatest works of art ever created. It was a lovely night (and a great excuse to dress up) that I
would highly recommend to any student living in the big city.
